Full Time, experienced Farm Foreman required for mixed farm located near Burnham Market, Norfolk. This is a mainly arable farm growing, wheat, barley, sugar beet and onions.
There is also a herd of Aberdeen Angus cross beef cattle.
We are looking for a very hands on person who can turn their hands to a variety of tasks which will include:-
- Tractor driving with implements
- Sprayer operating, so PA1 and PA2 essential
- Assisting with harvest – corn carting and grain store work
- Working with cattle – including calving
- Overseeing the irrigation system
- Coordinating the days work as instructed by the Farm Owner
The person:-
- Reliable, hard working and a good team player
- Experienced with cattle
- An experienced tractor driver
- An experienced sprayer operator
- Happy to accurately follow instructions
- Will have good IT skills (Gatekeeper would be a bonus)
- Experienced with irrigation systems
- Happy to work outside normal hours and share the weekend rota
A good salary will be offered to the successful person who can provide fully checkable references for similar roles. There is a 2 bedroom house available if required.
