Housekeeper/Cleaner – Nr Tilney All Saints, Norfolk- REF RR1556

Experienced Housekeeper/Cleaner required for lovely 8 bedroom family home.

Approximately 25-30 hours per week, flexible hours, except for when family are in residence

Job role to include, but not limited to:

• General housekeeping, laundry, ensuring house is well maintained and liaising with Farm Manager or directly with our tradespeople to organise minor repairs
• Liaising directly with Principals (who live abroad) re. requirements for when next in residence
• Shopping, fridge stocking and ordering of house supplies
• Basic cooking, breakfasts, preparing salads etc. Preparing of shoot lunches during the season.
• Key contact for alarm, shared responsibility with Farm Manager
• Cleaning of other Farm properties, i.e. farm offices and farm accommodation

The ideal candidate would have an interest in country life, although this is not a necessity.

This would suit someone who is flexible, with a can-do attitude and a very good eye for detail! The candidate must be a self-starter as they will be able to establish their own routine which suits them and to some degree choose their own working hours.

Number of hours per week would be fairly fixed, as this employee would be responsible for the weekly cleaning of the other farm properties which would take approx. 10 hours per week. There is the expectation that when the principals are in residence, there would be an increase in hours to prepare for their arrival and to be on hand when they are here.
