Housekeeper (part time)- Thurning, Norfolk- Ref RR1708

Experienced, knowledgeable and trustworthy housekeeper required for a beautiful, family home in North Norfolk at the center of a small traditional farm estate.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated housekeeper with some previous experience working in a similar family environment and/or a boutique hotel.

The main responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out all housekeeping duties (polishing, hoovering, dusting, mopping)
• Taking care of all laundry (including fine linens), changing/making beds, washing and ironing.
• Generally organising the house, linens, larders, cupboards.
• Stock fridges and larders in discussion with gardeners.

This is a part time, self-employed, permanent role and would suit a meticulous, careful and thorough housekeeper who has a high attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling and cleaning antiques, silver, brass and porcelain.

Hours:

15 hours a week

Days:

Ideally, Monday, Wednesday and Friday although there is a bit of flexibility.

The family have school and university aged children, so the house is busier during the holidays but is generally quieter during term time. They do not have any pets.

Competitive hourly rate on offer for a well referenced person.

An up to date DBS check will be required before starting the post. Driving licence needed due to location.

Non- smoker preferred.
