Full Time Housekeeper/Cook, Braintree, Essex Ref JB 1868

Full Time experienced Housekeeper/Cook required for private household located in rural location with the nearest town being Braintree.

Ideally this is a live in position with a fully refurbished 2 bedroom cottage available for the right person. One well behaved pet would be considered.  Live Out would be considered for someone living locally.

Duties will include :-

• All housework to a very high standard for beautiful, large country house
• Laundry and ironing, including changing bed linen, towels etc
• Preparation of healthy family meals with cooking for the freezer
• Occasional help with young family
• Being flexible to assist with occasional family events
• Doing the weekly shop and keeping the kitchen cupboards stocked
• Generally keeping the home immaculate at all times and notice when things need doing.
• Walking family dog.

The housekeeper must have fully referenced, previous private household experience and have a good eye for detail. Taking a pride in their work and really enjoying managing the cleaning of a large period property essential. Someone proactive and able to work using their own initiative is a must.

Reliable, friendly with an easy to get along with personality.

Car driver due with own transport essential to rural location

Non Smoker only.
