Kelling Home and Friends are looking for a wonderful, polite, well presented and friendly Sales Assistant (s) to join their exciting new pop up shop in beautiful Creake Abbey, Norfolk.

Hours:

  • Part time and/or Full Time (6 months)
  • Job Share Opportunities Available
  • Wednesday – Sunday 9:30am- 5pm (flexible)
  • Pay per hour – Dependent on experience
  • Private launch party 22nd March
  • Opening 23rd March
  • Opening hours: March – May 2024 Wednesday – Sunday & June- August 2024  Monday – Sunday

About the company:

Kelling Home is the homeware and lifestyle brand for the interior design company Kelling Designs based in both Norfolk and London. From the end of March, Kelling Home are hosting a six month pop up at Creake Abbey, North Creake, Norfolk with a view to continue following this initial six month launch period. The pop-up shop will be situated in the old food hall and, alongside products from Kelling Home, there will also be products on display from c.14 other brands. The Barn Café will also be located within this space but will be staffed separately to the Kelling Home Pop Up retail area.

Role:

We are seeking an organised, confident and creative individual to take charge of the day to day  running of the pop up shop. This will involve anything from selling products and handling payments to dealing with customers and making sure that all products are attractively displayed. You will be able to offer advice and answer questions as and when required.

Responsibilities

  • Present excellent product & brand knowledge across Kelling Home and all other
    brands within the pop up
  • Greet customers on arrival and communicate in a friendly and polite manner
  • Help to maximize sales across all brands
  • Ensure the shop looks immaculate at all times, including cleaning and dusting shop
    area
  • Assist with maintaining a record of stock levels
  • Ensure all packaging is kept well stocked
  • Ensure products are displayed well and all individually priced
  • Work with Shopify and Pinterest and gather social media content
  • Knowledge of our payment system square – experience not necessary, training will
    be provided

  • Have an interest in homeware, design and lifestyle
