Housekeeper/Cleaner, Newmarket, Suffolk Ref JF1704

Experienced Housekeeper/Cleaner required for private country house located 8 miles South of Newmarket, Suffolk. The property is easily accessed from Haverhill and Bury St Edmunds.

The busy, young family are looking for a reliable, friendly person who is happy around animals and children to keep their large house clean and tidy.

The days will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday- between 4 and 5 hours each day.

The position will include:

• All housework to a high standard
• Changing beds
• Washing and ironing
• Silver cleaning
• Laying fires and keeping log basket full
• Helping with supper parties – serving and clearing away
• Making up bedroom for guests
• Some weekend work ( not every weekend )

The Person:

• Reliable, trustworthy with previous private household experience
• Friendly and easy to get along with
• Animal and child friendly
• A car driver with own transport
• A meticulous cleaner with a keen eye for detail.
• Will have previously worked within a private household

A good hourly rate, on a self employed basis will be offered to the successful person.

References and a DBS check will be required.
