An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time person to join the Commercial Support Team within a leading National Insurance Company, located in beautiful countryside approx 4/5 miles south of Ipswich. Easy access via A14 with free parking on site.

Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm

As a local agency of the Insurance Company they deliver a first class, personal service and sell their product range across the region, to customers old and new, who are the core of everything they do. The new staff member must understand the need to work as part of an established team where honesty, integrity, and trust are at the heart of the Company’s values.

The Role:

Working in an upbeat and friendly team, you will play a key role in the success of an expanding local business, providing excellent customer service to their members, and working as part of a focused team. You will provide support to the Partners, review and advise customers on their insurance requirements and create cross-selling opportunities.

  • Support Partners with enquiries, existing policy alterations, and renewal reviews
  • Provide first class Customer Service by establishing their needs
  • Respond to billing and accounting queries
  • Introduce the Company’s Financial Services to new and existing customers
  • Assist with day-to-day office administration processes

The Person:

The Company are looking for a new colleague with a ‘can do’ attitude and positive energy, who will:

  • Demonstrate the drive, energy and enthusiasm required to provide a fantastic customer experience to our existing and prospective clients
  • Be a proficient IT user with good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be a problem solver who enjoys working as part of a team with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Have good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks
  • Hold a minimum of Grade C in GCSE Math’s and English ( or equivalent )
  • Have the ability and desire to learn new systems, products, processes and skills

A background in insurance or financial services would be advantageous but not essential
