Full Time Commercial Account Manager required for one of the leading insurance providers in the UK.

The Company has been providing quality insurance to a wide range of customers including, Agricultural, Equestrian, Commercial and HNWIs for over 110 years and the service they provide is first class.

The office is located in a lovely area approx 5 miles south of Ipswich with easy access from the A14/A12 and free onsite parking.

Hours:

  • 9am to 5pm – Monday to Friday

The Account Manager will play a key role in growing the business.

The Role:

Primarily as the Account Manager you will spend your time managing an existing book of business, and identifying cross sell opportunities. You will also spend time undertaking a wide variety of tasks, including pro-actively generating your own personal and commercial insurance opportunities, developing and managing your pipeline.

You will need to build strong customer relationships, getting to know their business needs, and providing the right advice and products. The company do not promote hard selling. The role enables you to spend time in the office and out on the road, visiting customers businesses. The Company’s commercial Insurance book is growing, so this is an opportunity for you to explore new markets and make an exciting contribution to the growth of the business.

The Person MUST have:

  • Drive, energy and enthusiasm to provide the best possible customer experience
  • Insurance experience/ relationship building and where possible rural connections
  • A confident personality with the ability to work well within a team environment, as well as being able to work as an individual
  • Someone who shows initiative  with a ‘can do’ attitude and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A background in insurance sales would be preferred with the ability to recognise commercial opportunities and manage the entire sales process
  • A car driver with full UK licence

The successful person will be offered a salary of up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience along with 25 days holiday ( plus bank holidays).
