Part Time Cleaner required for children’s day nursery located in East Bergholt, Suffolk with easy access from the A12/A14.

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic person to manage the cleaning of this purpose built nursery to a very high standard.

The days will be Monday to Friday- 2 hours per day -10 hours total per week. The cleaner will need to work either before the nursery opens 8am or after it closes 6pm.

The position will include:-

• Vacuuming
• Washing floors
• Cleaning the toilets
• Cleaning the kitchen
• Dusting and polishing
• Making sure the desks, chair, and other furniture are all clean and safe to use

The person:-

• Reliable, enthusiastic with a good work ethic
• Local to East Bergholt (within half and hour ideally)
• Child friendly with an easy to get along with personality
• Experienced with commercial cleaning preferred
• Exemplary cleaning skills with a keen eye for the finer detail

*The nursery supports the children within their care, protects them from maltreatment and has robust procedures in place to prevent the impairment of children’s health and development. In their setting they strive to protect children from the risk of radicalisation and they promote acceptance and tolerance of other beliefs and cultures . Safeguarding is a much wider subject than the elements covered within this single policy, therefore this document should be used in conjunction with the nursery’s other policies and procedures. A good hourly rate will be offered to the successful person who can provide fully checkable references. A DBS check will be requested.
