Weekend Groom. REF JF1722

Weekend Groom required for private competition yard located between Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds.

The ideal person will have previously worked with horses and be happy around fit event horses.

The position:

• All yard duties to a very high standard – mucking out, waters, hays, sweeping the yard and generally making sure the yard is clean, safe and tidy
• Turning horses out and bringing them in from the field
• Rug changing and checking for injury
• Grooming horses
• Tack cleaning
• Tacking horses up for the rider

The Person:

• 100% reliable with a good work ethic
• Genuinely love working with horses
• Happy to work in all weathers
• Confident and experienced around fit horses
• Happy to follow instructions
• Thorough in their work and meticulous
• Car driver

A good hourly rate will be offered to the successful person who can provide fully checkable references.
