Pool Maintenance Person, Halesworth, Suffolk REF JF1723

Full Time Pool Maintenance Person required for large country Estate located close to the Suffolk town of Halesworth and within easy reach of  the beautiful coastal town of Southwold.  The 8000 acre estate is home to many incredible properties offering guests the chance to stay and enjoy the most wonderful environment and experience fabulous leisure facilities.

We are looking for someone to join the established maintenance team who are responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of the Estate’s 23 commercial spas and 10 swimming pools.

The new team member will be responsible for making sure the spas and pools are working correctly, clean and chemically balanced as well as daily testing to ensure all levels are correct.

The position will also involve assisting with planned and reactive maintenance works to the Estate properties.

Pay :

• £27,000 – £32,000 per annum dependent on experience

Hours:

• Full Time employed contract working Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm
• One weekend in five working 10.30am to 7pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm Saturday – Sunday
• On call fee plus call-out pay at 1.5 x paid door-to-door
• Two days off the following week when working the weekend
• 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays

What you will need:

• Extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of swimming pools and hot tubs and all associated tasks
• The ability to test and treat hot tub and pool water and the use of necessary chemicals
• Property maintenance experience ( strongly desired)
• A full UK driving licence (a vehicle will be provided for use on site)

• A real team player with a willingness to attend out of hours emergency call outs where required
