Gardener, Boxford, Suffolk. REF JF1724

Part Time experienced Gardener required for private country house located close to the village of Boxford approx 5 miles from Sudbury Suffolk.

We are looking for a gardener who can work approx 3 hours a week on a regular basis to maintain this lovely garden, owned by a young local family, to a high standard.

The garden comprises:

The Gardener will be required to concentrate on the formal beds and keeping the main lawned area maintained. General gardening, such as weeding, pruning, cutting back, restocking and basically keeping the garden looking great.

Experience in garden machinery also required ,such as strimmer, hedge cutter etc.

Horticultural knowledge is essential as there are some specialist plants in the garden. Also someone who understands what needs doing and when throughout the year.

The ideal person will be fairly local, a car driver with their own transport with an enthusiastic and experienced approach to gardening. Someone physically fit as the job can involve heavy work at times.

A generous hourly rate will be offered to the successful person.
