Two Bedroom Country Cottage available to rent at half the market value in exchange for ad-hoc house/pet sitting.

The cottage is located close to shops in Needham Market and is within easy reach (4 miles) of Stowmarket which offers supermarkets and golf.

Both Needham Market and Stowmarket have stations and buses.

The accommodation is as follows:

• 2 Bedrooms
• Bathroom
• Sitting Room
• Kitchen and hallway
• Situated at the rear of the main house
• Set in 15 acres of garden/grounds of which 4 acres (with field shelter and mains water) may be available to rent for grazing by separate tenancy agreement.

We are looking for a country loving person or couple to keep an eye on the house and care for 2 friendly dogs when the owners go away.

Owner’s trips of longer than a few days would be very rare, so the majority of cover will be when the owners are in London or out for the day locally.

Car drivers essential due to the rural location.

The rent for this cottage will be £500 PCM and utility bills are excluded.  Available early November 2024.

There may be the opportunity for some gardening/housekeeping work on a self employed basis in the future.

Sadly the accommodation is not suitable for a family with children . One well behaved small dog may be considered.
