Full Time experienced Stud Groom required to join sports horse stud on the outskirts of Newmarket, Suffolk.  The stud is located in Six Mile Bottom which is 6 miles south of Newmarket.

This is a 5 day a week position which will include one weekend day.

Previous stud and foaling experience essential.

The position will include the following:

  • General yard duties to a high standard
  • Foaling
  • Sitting up during the foaling season
  • Handling youngstock – long reining and lunging

You will be:

  • Reliable, punctual with an excellent work ethic
  • Easy to get along with and a good team player
  • Happy working alone
  • Will be experienced with the actual foaling
  • Local to Newmarket
  • A car driver with own transport

A competitive salary will be offered on either an employed or self employed basis.
