Cleaner/Mother’s Help, Colchester, Essex. REF JF1847

Part Time experienced Housekeeper/Mother’s Help required for busy family located in a village location approx 4.5 miles (NW) from Halstead Essex and 9 miles from Colchester.

The family have 2 children ages 10 and 12 who attend a local school but require supervision and help after school.

This is a one day a week position ( Wednesday ) with a start time of 12 – midday and a finish time of 7pm.

We are looking for a reliable, local person to carry out the following duties within this large family house:

• 2/3 hours housework, which will include – hoovering, dusting, making beds, sorting laundry, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen etc. The house is large so certain areas can be worked on each week.
• Dog walking ( approx 20 minutes )
• Preparing dinner for the children
• Making sure the children do their homework, piano practice etc
• Ensuring the children are showered and in their night clothes by 7pm-reading or playing quietly until their parents get home
• General tidying

Someone with a genuine love of children essential and a kind, patient manner. The family have pets so an animal lover would also be great.

The family are relaxed and would prefer someone experienced with older children who would love to be with them for a long time.

Someone who likes to cook and enjoys being outside, as during the summer months the children enjoy their large garden after supper.

Car driver and non smoker only.
