Experienced Full Time Senior Gardener required for the private gardens set within a beautiful country estate located close to Halesworth, Suffolk.
This is a wonderful opportunity to join a small team working to the highest standards keeping the gardens in immaculate condition throughout the year.
We are looking for a reliable gardener with a genuine passion for horticulture who can work with enthusiasm, and who really loves to see their hard work come into bloom! Someone with a ‘can do’ attitude who knows what needs doing and when, who can carry the tasks out efficiently and be a good support to the team. The successful person must be able to take instruction, but also be able to use their own initiative when required.
A good knowledge of plants essential and an understanding of their care/maintenance is a must. Use of large garden machinery will be required. Horticultural qualifications would be great but not essential, as long as the knowledge and experience are apparent.
A proven track record in a similar position is desired.
Due to the nature of the work the successful person must be physically fit and happy to work outside in all weathers-with a smile!
A car driver who lives within 40 minutes would be preferred.
There could be accommodation available for the right person.
A good salary will be offered to the successful person who can provide fully checkable references.
