Housekeeper – PE32 2QN, Norfolk – RR1858

Due to a change in circumstances, this lovely part time position has become available again.

Experienced and well referenced housekeeper required for beautiful 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom Manor house.

The family are looking for an efficient, thorough and organised housekeeper that can keep on top of the overall tidiness and structure of the house as well as all cleaning, deep cleaning and laundry.

This is a lovely part time position, offering around 10 – 15 hours a week, Monday – Friday spread over 2-4 days.

The family have school age children, a little baby and a well behaved and friendly dog so the person must enjoy working around little ones and family pets.

The responsibilities will vary but will mostly include:

• General cleaning of the house polishing, hoovering, mopping, dusting and presenting rooms to a high standard.
• Organising drawers, cupboards, wardrobes, dressing rooms
• Taking care of family washing and ironing
• Making beds
• Deep cleaning (oven)
• Managing freezer
• Tidying rooms, putting things away, folding things up,  creating an organised and neat family home
• Basic cooking (not essential but would be a real bonus)
• Occasional school runs (car provided)
• Ensuring the house gives a wow factor and looks neat and well organised
• Making and list and overseeing basic maintenance (lose door handles etc)

The ideal person will need to be:

• Friendly, kind and approachable
• High attention to detail and thorough
• Organised and methodical
• Motivated and enthusiastic
• An experienced private housekeeper that understands what its like to work in someone’s family home
• Discreet and confidential
• Can do, happy and helpful attitude
