Experienced Nanny/Mother’s Help required for busy young family located between Colchester and Ipswich in a lovely part of rural Suffolk (postcode is Essex). This is a live in position and a new studio annexe complete with shower room and kitchenette will be provided. LIVE OUT MAY BE CONSIDERED FOR LOCAL PERSON.
The family have 3 children – 4 years, 3 years and newborn, so someone with experience with toddlers and babies essential.
We are looking for someone who can work Monday to Thursday with a total of 35 hours a week-this will increase in January 2024 to 48 hours per week when both parents will be working.
The Position:-
- Care of 3 children under 5
- Driving children to school/nursery
- Creating and putting into action activities for the children both indoor and outdoor, making their days happy and fun
- Cooking healthy children’s meals
- Baby feeds and progression to solid food
- Arranging trips out for the children, taking to parties etc
- Carrying out light housework
- Children’s laundry
- Generally keeping the house tidy
- Available to start August 2023
The Person:-
- Preferably childcare qualified -if not then extensive previous experience in childcare would be considered
- Must have a genuine love of working with small children and babies
- Bright, fun with a caring, friendly personality
- Understand routines-sleep, fresh air, quiet time, bath time etc
- Will be a good cook to provide healthy meals from scratch using fresh ingredients
- A safe driver with a clean licence
- Polite and easy to have around
- Organised, efficient and professional
- Will have paediatric first aid
A good salary will be offered to the successful person.
