Housekeeper – Houghton, Norfolk- RR1769

Mothers Help / Housekeeper required 2 days a week (8am-6pm). The person will need to be happy predominantly keeping on top of the house work, making sure things are lovely and tidy. The family have a 3 year old & 5.5 year old who will occasionally need dropping off or collecting from school within those hours and looking after between 3-6pm. Occasional help with supper will also come into the equation when the parents are not around.

To start October 2024

Both parents work either from home or in London with busy schedules so the Mothers Help / housekeeper must be happy having sole charge of the children around nursery/ school hours.  The perfect person would be an experienced Mothers Help/ Housekeeper who is calm, kind and organised.

This role will involve all housekeeping (hoovering, mopping, dusting, polishing, deep cleans), sorting the family’s laundry / changing bed linen, ironing, tidying up of the house etc.

The Mothers Help / Housekeeper:

• Must be a very confident driver to carry out school runs, active and happy cooking
• Organised, efficient & fun
• Happy to help around the house, such as keeping on top of all of the rooms, general tidying, changing beds & generally making sure things are in order.
• Ideally someone quite local, who knows the surrounding area
• Ideally someone who now & again can be flexible with dates, every now & again the family may need to change a day here & there, but will always give warning.
• Someone willing to become part of their lovely family
