Full Time Gardener, Camberley, Surrey Ref JF1670

Full Time experienced Estate Gardener required for private country estate located approx 5 miles from Camberley,  Surrey.

The house has beautiful, established gardens and we are looking for someone to join the small team,  all enthusiastic gardeners with a real passion for horticulture.

The position is Monday to Friday – 8am to 4.30pm .  There is no accommodation available on the estate.

The successful person will have previously worked within an Estate garden and be a good team player who can follow instructions.  A reliable, polite and well presented person who is easy to get along with and has a good work ethic.

The Position:

• Use of large garden machinery – ride on mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters etc
• Maintaining large areas of formal lawns to a high standard
• General gardening – weeding, pruning, mulching, digging over beds, cutting back, watering, replanting etc
• Topiary and general hedge cutting
• Maintaining the rose garden and cutting garden
• Tractor and implement use
• Spraying
• Tree maintenance
• Water features, lakes etc
• Vegetable growing

The Person:

• Reliable, trustworthy and a good team player
• Experienced with all garden machinery
• Will have excellent horticultural knowledge
• Happy to work in all weathers and follow instructions
• Will be a car driver with own transport
• Will be fit and healthy as the job can be physically demanding at times.
• Will have tractor experience ideally.
• Will be able to provide fully checkable references

A competitive salary and a 15% pension will be offered to the successful person. Other benefits offered.
