Housekeeper/Cleaner/Ironer, Saffron Walden, Essex. REF JF1744

Part Time experienced Housekeeper required for pretty 7 bedroomed country farmhouse located in a rural location approx 5 miles south of Saffron Walden.

The housekeeper must be reliable, trustworthy with a really good work ethic. Although the house is large, there are usually only two family members in residence plus two gorgeous Norfolk terriers.

The successful person must be happy working alone, although there is a gardener on site too.

We are looking for someone who can work 12 hours a week over 3 days.

Car driver with own transport essential due to location not being on a public transport route.

The Position:

• Maintaining the house to a high standard of cleaning and presentation
• All vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, changing bed linen etc
• Laundry and ironing
• General tidying of all areas
• Cleaning fire grates
• Internal window cleaning
• Deep cleans on a regular basis
• Liaising with all types of contractors
• Feeding and letting dogs out on occasions

The Person:

• Reliable, punctual with an easy to get along with personality
• Polite and well presented
• Will be meticulous in all housework and have very high standards
• Must be a very good ironer
• Will be comfortable working alone and able to use their own initiative, but must be happy to follow instructions as necessary
• Car driver with own transport
• Non smoker
• Will be able to provide fully checkable references
• Animal friendly as family have two lovely terriers

Good hourly rate offered to the successful person
