An opportunity has arisen to join the team on a prestigious, multi-disciplined 42,000 acre estate, located in the beautiful Northern Cairngorms in the Highlands of Scotland.

There are actually 2 estates within the 42,000 acres and they are 2 hours apart, both these properties will be cared for by the new staff members.

We are looking for a Couple or individuals who can manage the housekeeping/admin and assist with gamekeeping across the estate.

The property is remote, but with easy access to a village which offers a shop, school and other local amenities.

This role is offered with accommodation along with a competitive salary. A well behaved dog would be considered subject to discussion.

The Housekeeper will:

  • Assist in the running of the shooting lodge which is maintained to a high standard.
  • Be responsible for cleaning a let property which will involve some weekend changeovers
  • Change beds ready for family and guests
  • Carry out laundry and ironing
  • Make sure all areas of the properties are always clean and presented well

The Gamekeeper will:

  • Work as part of a team managing and developing their own grouse beat under the supervision of the Head Keeper.
  • Undertake deer stalking when required
  • Carry out general estate duties to keep all areas well maintained and tidy
  • Preferably have a shotgun licence

Administration role:

  • Carrying out administrative duties relating to the day to day running of the estates, including game shooting, fishing and other estate and farming activities
  • Assisting with bookkeeping, invoice processing and arranging repairs for the estate lodges
  • Maintaining accurate records of bookings, visitor information and estate activities including property repairs.
  • Management of holiday cottages, including bookings and invoicing
  • Coordinating with estate Factors, gamekeepers, and other staff to ensure seamless operations
  • Contributing to financial reporting and data management processes
  • Dealing with enquiries and working alongside the Estate Manager

Hours:

  • 48 hours per week each employee

The successful person will act as the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries, communicating effectively and efficiently.

Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills essential.

Previous experience of working within an agricultural, sporting or property business would be advantageous.

Car drivers essential due to the location.
