
Butler/Valet – JB1914
Position Filled
Full Time Butler/Valet required for busy household located close to Camberley, Surrey. You will be principally responsible for carrying out a variety of valeting duties for the family.
Hours will be approx 45 per week and this will include weekends when required. Flexibility is essential for this role.
You will be reliable, polite and well presented with very high standards. Exemplary attention to detail is a must.
A competitive salary will be offered and accommodation can be available if required.
The duties will include:
• The maintenance and care of clothing and footwear, and travelling within the UK and overseas as required.
• Working with the House Manager and Deputy House Manger, to ensure the smooth running of the day to day operations for the family.
• Assisting with the supervision of the cleaning and maintenance duties throughout the residence and ensure a consistently high level of service is provided.
• Supporting the House Manager and the Deputy House Manager to coordinate events and be a point of contact for colleagues, visitors and visitors to the house and grounds.
• You will also be involved with some aspects of house management including supervising staff and monitoring performance.

• Previous experience of valeting in a similar environment would be beneficial.

• Meticulous with a close attention to detail, you are committed to maintaining high standards of service and care.
• Highly organised, able to prioritise and time manage daily tasks effectively.
• A pro-active attitude, eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges in support of the wider team.
• Previous supervisory experience would be an asset, however this position would equally suit an individual seeking their first supervisory role in hospitality.
• A clean and valid UK driving licence.
