Full Time experienced Nanny/Housekeeper required for busy young family located approx 8 miles south of Bishop’s Stortford and 5 miles east of Sawbridgeworth.
The current Nanny is retiring after 4 years with the family, so this is a highly recommended position and we are looking for someone who can step into her shoes and become a pivotal part of the household.
The little girl is 4 years old and starts reception class at a local school this September making term time more housekeeping orientated.
The position:
- Child care on a day-to-day basis
- Cooking healthy meals for the child- maybe a little cake baking together
- Creating fun activities both inside and out
- Lots of fresh air when the weather allows, walking, cycling and general play
- Driving to activities and parties, plus school runs from September
- All housework to a high standard
- Laundry and ironing
- Linen changing and making beds
- Shopping for the family occasionally
- Dog walking and feeding – 3 labradors
The Person:
- Reliable, kind and caring, with a genuine love of working with children
- Fun, creative and engaging
- Polite and well presented
- Flexible and able to work an occasional weekend day.
- A safe driver with their own transport and a full UK licence
- A good cook who can provide healthy meals
- An experienced Housekeeper who can maintain the house to a high standard
- A dog lover who enjoys walking
- An country loving person who loves the great outdoors.
- Will have an in date DBS and a First Aid certificate
This position can be either live-in with a 2 bedroom cottage provided or live-out if within 20 minutes of the property.
The cottage has a fenced garden, so a well behaved dog would be considered. A partner would also be welcome.
A good salary will be offered to the successful person.
