Full Time experienced Accounts Person / Bookkeeper required for small family run business located approx 10 minutes from Sudbury.

The business specialises in handmade bricks for restoration and conservation, working on large projects for the National Trust, English Heritage and Historic Royal Palaces but also just as proud of the smaller private work undertaken.

We are looking for someone to join this small established team to take over from the current lady who is retiring after several years.

The Role

  • Sales and Purchase Ledger
  • Produce monthly cashflows
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Manage petty cash
  • Journals
  • Credit Control
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Financial statement
  • Processing Payroll
  • Prepare annual accounts for annual audit
  • Assisting with budgets
  • Assisting Directors in general

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous fully referenced experience within a similar role
  • AAT Qualified
  • IT Literate (  Specially Excel)
  • Experience with ZERO accounting software
  • Strong attention to details
  • Excellent Communication skills

This is a Monday to Friday position- hours will be 9am to 5pm

Salary dependent on experience.
