Part Time Gardener, Halesworth, Suffolk -REF JF1643

Part Time experienced Gardener required for private country house located close to Halesworth,  Suffolk.

The hours will be 8am to 4pm – 2 days a week ( to be agreed )

A good hourly rate will be offered.

The garden is approximately 2/3 acres with a mixture of lawns, herbaceous borders, hedges , orchard, fruit trees, vegetable garden to be developed and other areas being improved.

There is a swimming pool with several pots on the terrace.

The gardener must have excellent horticultural knowledge and be able to create new areas within the garden when necessary-RHS qualifications would be an advantage but not a dealbreaker.

Someone who can carry out all general gardening tasks to a high standard and who understands what needs doing and when throughout the year.

Use of large garden machinery, such as ride on mower, strimmer etc will be required.

The successful person must be happy working alone, and not mind working in all weathers.

Reliability, enthusiasm and a good work ethic are essential.

Car driver with own transport is a must.

Physical fitness is important as some heavy work can been involved.
