Event Rider

A fabulous opportunity for someone looking to be part of a new sport horse breeding and eventing yard. We are looking for a Full Time Rider with good eventing experience to join this small friendly team on a private stud set in 140 acres of grassland near Bury St Edmunds.

The ideal person will be required to produce young horses from newly backed stock through to competing them in events with a view to continuing through the grades or selling on.

There will be 6 to 8 young horses to work with per annum.

The successful person can bring a number ( approx 3) of their own horses.

Facilities including 80 x 40 arena, 7 furlong grass gallops, 1.1 km all weather gallop, recently refurbish stables, planning being sought for covered horse walker/indoor school, all year turn out, scope for cross country training complex …. all in a beautiful setting.

Time scales and accommodation to be mutually agreed.

Other staff employed so this is not an isolated position.

Salary to be discussed but relative to experience.
