
Property Manager -Great Cressingham, Norfolk- RR1792

Experienced and practical Property Manager required at one of Norfolk’s prestigious Estates. The estate is primarily focused on agriculture and has a diverse portfolio of properties, including residential houses and commercial lets.
The Property Manager will oversee the management and maintenance of 54 residential houses and several commercial properties. The role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in property management, financial responsibility, and the ability to manage renewable energy projects, including solar and anaerobic digestion systems.
This is a full time, permanent role. The person will predominantly be based in Norfolk on the estate but will need to be happy going to London from time to time.
Hours: Monday – Friday with the very occasional weekend when the principals are in residence
Main Responsibilities:
Property Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of 54 residential properties and several commercial lets
- Ensure properties are well-maintained and comply with safety and legal standards
- Manage tenant relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring high levels of satisfaction
- Coordinate property repairs, maintenance, and renovations as needed
Renewable Energy Projects:
- Lead and manage solar and anaerobic digestion projects
- Monitor and optimize the performance of renewable energy systems
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability goals
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets for property operations and maintenance
- Handle financial reporting, including income and expenditure statements
- Ensure timely collection of rents and management of financial records
- Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of property-related activities
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers
- Compliance and Regulations, Ensuring all properties comply with UK regulations
- Stay updated on property management best practices and legal requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in property management, with a focus on residential and commercial properties
- Strong understanding and experience with renewable energy projects
- Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cost analysis
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in property management software and MS Office Suite
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to various property locations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification in property management (e.g., CPM, RPA)
- Experience in sustainable property management practices
Other duties include assisting the estate management team with ideas to exploit the estate’s potential to create other development prospects to increase revenues . Duties include assisting in property management of a few properties in the London area from time to time as assigned.
