We are looking for an experienced and professional individual to join the housekeeping team at a busy home near Tetbury. The successful person will join a small team who carry out the cleaning and care of all the rooms in this beautiful private home, delivering the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. They will assist the Housekeeper with the care of all household linen and may also be asked to perform some front-of-house duties, such as serving refreshments and meals to guests.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to build on their existing skills in a varied and challenging role, working alongside a dedicated, knowledgeable and friendly team in a superb working environment in the countryside.

This is a full time, permanent, employed position.

Hours of work:

40 hours per week, over 5 days, Monday to Friday, there is some flexibility on when these hours are worked and the housekeeper will be happy to accommodate those that may need to do the school run etc. Occasional weekend working by prior arrangement.

Salary:

£24,960 per annum with lunch provided and other wonderful perks

The ideal person will :

  • Have worked in a private household or similar role within the hospitality industry, with previous experience of housekeeping and cleaning.
  • Be meticulous with a close attention to detail as well as committed to maintaining the highest standards of service and care.
  • Be highly organised with good initiative, and the ability to prioritise, and time manage the daily tasks effectively.
  • Possess a pro-active and hands-on attitude, to work effectively and flexibly as part of a small team.
