COMPETITION GROOM – NEWMARKET REF 674

Experienced Groom required for successful ,small, family event yard located between Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds.

This is a live in position with cottage on site.

The ideal person will have previously held a professional groom position with competition horses. Horses compete from 5 year old classes to 4*.

Excellent turnout skills required ( clipping, plaiting, trimming etc)

Good rider preferred who is happy to  hack fit horses alone and in company. Fabulous facilities with plenty of off road riding.

This is a rare opportunity to be part of a small, energetic team providing first class care to the gorgeous, elite equines.

Lorry driver would be a great advantage but not a deal breaker but car driver essential.

Friendly, enthusiastic person who gets on well with everyone.

Partner and well behaved dog would be welcome . There may be space for own horse ( not a competition horse)

Generous salary offered to the perfect person.
