Couple -Housekeeper/Gardener, Cambridgeshire – REF JF1892

Experienced Couple to carry out Housekeeping/Cleaning/Gardening/Driving required for private country house located approx 8 miles from Cambridge and 6 miles west of Newmarket.

Great commuting links to London via rail or road.

We are looking for a couple to work 25 hours (combined) a week and cover a variety of tasks helping to keep this Grade I listed house clean and tidy.  An interest in gardening would be an advantage to mow the lawn, weed, prune and carry out general tidying throughout the year.

There is the opportunity to work extra hours at the employer’s nearby polo ground assisting with hospitality at events.

This is a live in position and a small one bedroom lodge is included in the package.

The position will include:

• All housework to a high standard
• Laundry and ironing
• General tidying
• Keeping the garden well maintained.
• Occasional driving for the family.

You will be:

• Reliable, trustworthy with a really nice friendly personalities
• Experienced housekeeper/cleaner
• Used to period properties
• Happy to work in the garden
• Car drivers with a clean licences( truck available for work hours)
