Position Filled
Full Time experienced Gardener required for private country estate located in Halesworth, Suffolk.
We are looking for someone reliable, enthusiastic with a really good work ethic to join this small team, who all work to the highest standards maintaining this lovely country garden.
The garden is approximately 10 acres which includes parkland and comprises the following areas – formal lawns, herbaceous borders, walled garden, greenhouse, kitchen garden and a pond.
The Position:
- Weeding
- Pruning
- Lawn care using large ride on and pedestrian mowers
- Strimming
- Planting
- Digging over
- Mulching
- Hedge Cutting
- General tidying of paths, driveways and terraces
The Person:
- Reliable, enthusiastic with a good work ethic
- Happy to take instructions
- Experienced with large garden machinery
- Will have good horticultural knowledge
- Will be good team player
- Polite and easy to get along with
- Car driver with own transport
- Physically fit
Salary will depend on the individual and experience.
