Full Time Head Chef required for Public House in the market town of Sudbury, Suffolk.
We are looking for an experienced , qualified chef who can take on this exciting role as and when government restrictions allow.
The ideal person will be reliable, enthusiastic with a excellent understanding of what the public desires as far as good food using local ingredients. To ensure the kitchen produces excellent quality meals at all times and to take a genuine pride in seeing great results.
The ability to manage a small team of chefs is a must, with a organised and forward thinking personality. Someone who can liaise with the General Manager and other staff in a positive manner, offering advice and guidance. A real Team Player who gets along with everyone and who people enjoy working with.
The Head Chef will be responsible for creating and updating mouthwatering menus and be able to discuss and take suggestions from the Manager.
Budgeting, cash flow, health and safety are import factors of this role.
As with all hospitality positions there will be a rota in place, however the Head Chef will be working at busy times, weekends and evenings with the quieter days taken off.
