Gardener, Sudbury, Suffolk. JB1915

Experienced Gardener required for private country house and wedding venue, located near Sudbury, Suffolk.

We are looking for someone who can work between 2 and 3 days a week, so between 16 and 24 hours total.

The ideal person will be reliable, punctual, enthusiastic with a really good work ethic. Someone personable and easy to get along with.

This is a small family run business and the owners are always on site.

The Position will include:

• All lawn care using large pedestrian mower
• Edging and sttrimming
• General gardening – weeding, pruning, cutting back, mulching, hoeing, digging beds over, watering etc
• Maintaining the rose garden
• Large bed overhaul when required
• General tidying of all areas

What you will need:

• Extensive horticultural knowledge
• High standard grass maintenance experience
• Previous work within a rose garden
• Extensive general gardening experience
• Driving licence and own transport
• To be fit and healthy and happy working outside in all weathers.
• Passionate about all things gardening with a real pride of seeing the immaculate end result.

A good hourly rate on a self employed basis will be offered to the successful person subject to references.
