Freelance Groom, Solihull, Warwickshire – JF1954

Part time experienced Freelance Groom required for small private yard located near Solihull, Warwickshire.

The ideal person will have at least 5 years previous experience working within the equine industry.

We are looking for someone who can work 3/4 days a week full & part days.

The yard has 5 horses, the new team member must be a real team player, with a good work ethic and easy to get along with.

The  yard/farm is in a rural location therefore a car driver essential

The yard has excellent facilities making a groom’s working environment really good.

The Position will involve:-

• All yard work to a high standard – mucking out etc
• Following feeding regimes
• Keeping yard, arenas and paddocks clean and tidy
• Tack cleaning and making sure always safe to use

The Person will be:-

• Reliable, punctual, enthusiastic and a real team player
• Up to speed with first aid skills
• Able to follow instructions and use own initiative when required
• A car driver with own transport
• Able to turn horses out to a high standard

A good hourly rate will be offered to the successful person who can provide fully checkable equestrian references.
