Full Time experienced Gardener/Grounds- East Bergholt REF 742 under offer

Full Time experienced Gardener/Groundsman required for beautiful gardens and farm in the village of East Bergholt.

The ideal person will have professional gardening experience and be fit, healthy with a very good work ethic. Someone enthusiastic with a genuine love of horticulture a must. RHS qualifications would be an advantage.

The Gardener will be required to:

• Operate and maintain large garden machinery, such as mowers, strimmers
• Use ride on mowers,  sprayer, chain saw, hedge cutter, strimmer
• Have horticultural knowledge to assist with general garden duties
• Be happy working alone and as part of a team when required
• Carry out groundsman duties within the gardens and also around the farm as necessary
• Generally keep the grounds tidy throughout the seasons – raking leaves, mulching, weeding, trimming back trees and hedges etc.

The Gardener will be:-

• Reliable
• Punctual
• Hard Working
• Fit and Healthy (some heavy jobs involved)
• A good team player
• Experienced in all areas of gardening/groundsman duties including machine use.
• Have good horticultural knowledge ( qualifications would be good but not a deal breaker)
