Position Filled
Full Time Head Gardener required for private country Estate located near Sandy Bedfordshire.
The ideal person will have fully referenced previous Head Gardener or second head experience and be able to manage a 6 acre formal garden comprising:-
- formal lawned areas
- formal borders
- greenhouse
- vegetable garden
- trees
- wedding venue
- cutting garden
Other requirements will be assisting the groundsman with the equestrian facility when necessary and maintaining hedges. Generally helping around the Estate at busy times.
Someone who is reliable and can work using their own initiative . Must be happy working in all weathers and understand the requirements during the seasons.
Large garden machinery use essential – ride on mowers, strimmers etc.
Good salary offered to the successful person.
