Part Time, experienced Groom, Stoke by Nayland- Ref 788

Part time experienced Groom required for small family yard in beautiful location  near Stoke by Nayland so easy access from Colchester, Sudbury and Hadleigh

The family have 2 horses- 14.2 and 15.2, both well behaved and straight forward.

The job is :-

• 1 day in the week for 3 hours
• 1 weekend day preferably Sunday again for 3 hours
• To exercise both horses ,can be ride and lead or separately. Manege and wonderful hacking around the Estate.
• Poo picking
• Yard work
• Tack cleaning
• Bringing in from the field and tacking up for owners the weekend day
• To accompany owners out hacking-there is a bike to use
• To assist the children when they ride – one is on lead rein

There are 2 other part time, very experienced grooms at other times who have been working for the family for several years.

The Person needs to be:-

• Reliable and punctual
• Capable and confident with horses
• A good rider
• Brilliant with children with a happy disposition
• Helpful and kind
• Polite, friendly with a good work ethic

Good hourly rate offered to the successful person.
