Part Time Gardener, Boxted, Essex – REF 815

Part Time experienced Gardener required for private country house located in Boxted, Essex – approx 15 minutes from Colchester.

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic gardener to manage this 3 acre garden -1 full day a week throughout the year.

The garden comprises:-

• Formal lawns
• Borders
• Hedges
• Swimming Pool area
• Vegetable and cutting garden  (not in use)
• Small area of fruit trees

The Gardener:-

• Will be able to operate and maintain a large ride on mower and keep lawns in good order
• Will carry out all plant care, pruning, weeding, cutting back, replanting etc
• Will be able to use a hedge cutter to maintain the hedges
• Will have experience with large garden machinery
• Will have excellent horticultural knowledge and plant identification
• Will be happy working in all weathers and understand the requirements of a garden through the seasons
• Must be happy to carry out general tidying duties around the property, sweeping, raking, chopping wood etc

Good hourly rate offered to the successful person
