Full Time experienced Live In Head Gardener required for private country house located in a rural location near Cockfield approx 20 minutes from both Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury.

The accommodation offered is a 4 bedroom house in the village. This would suit a couple where the partner may wish to do part time housekeeping .

The job will involve:–

• All lawn care using large garden machinery, ride on mowers etc
• Having excellent plant knowledge preferably with horticultural qualifications
• Caring for vegetable garden, greenhouse and cutting garden
• Maintaining, restocking formal borders
• Keeping hedges and ditches in good order
• Working with one other part time gardener
• Being reliable and enthusiastic with a good work ethic
• Using your own initiative and keeping the gardens and grounds neat and tidy throughout the year-understanding the demands of working within the seasons.
• Keeping all other areas around the property well maintained.

Car driver essential due to the location.

Good salary offered on an employed basis.
