Full time person required for lovely private family house between Sudbury and Haverhill CO10.

A good salary and self-contained cottage available in exchange for someone who can carry out the following duties.

Animal Care

• 4 dogs to be fed and walked
• 4 horses, mainly at grass, mucking out and poo picking
• Holding horses for vet and farrier
• Sole charge when family are away
• 1 donkey, chickens, and a cat

Gardening- 20 acres (1.5 of which are gardens, the rest is meadow)

• Grass cutting (ride on mower and push)
• Hedge cutting, strimming, clearing leaves
• Weeding, pruning, cutting back etc
• Log splitting and laying fires

Driving

• School runs using family car
• General errands and shopping

Housesitting

• Be around when parents are out
• Looking after school age children- Light babysitting
• Animal care
• Security when family are on holiday

This position has to date been filled by university students who have thoroughly enjoyed their time with the family.

This would suit someone who enjoys a varied position, getting stuck in and mainly working outside looking after animals and the grounds.

Must be happy working in all weathers

Must have a clean driving licence and be a safe driver

Animal care experience imperative, especially horses and dogs
