Part Time Groom – Newmarket – REF 995
Position Filled
Part Time experienced Groom required for private eventing yard located between Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds-easy access from the A14.
We are looking for someone reliable who can work 20-24 hours a week ( can be mornings only) although a local person who could come back in the afternoon when owners away would be great.
Weekends will be required .
The position will include:-
- Mucking out
- Turning horses out and bringing in from the field.
- Cleaning tack
- Grooming
- Keeping yard tidy
- Haynets and waters
- Rug changing
The ideal person will be reliable, punctual and a good team player. Must be confident handling fit competition horses on the ground.
Riding not essential.
Car driver essential due to location.
Grass livery available for own horse if required.
