Part Time Competition Groom, Cambridgeshire- REF 915 FILLED

Part Time experienced competition Groom required for family with 2 horses and 2 ponies competing up to 2* at present.

The ideal person will be able to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the eventing season March to November travelling with the family to events and training.

The horses are stabled near Cambridge and the groom will be required to :-

• Turn horses out to a very high standard( clip, plait, trim, pull etc)
• Prepare lorry for travel( Hay nets, water, tack,rugs, numbers, etc)
• Clean the tack, making sure everything in good, safe condition.
• Prepare horses for travel ( bandaging etc)
• Groom at the event (studding up, washing off, bandaging, icing legs, walking off etc)
• Be organised and understand the routines on competition days
• Be friendly and easy to get along with.
• Be punctual and reliable.

Someone with a lorry licence (7.5T) would be a bonus but not a dealbreaker as long as every other box is ticked.

A very generous hourly or daily rate will be offered
