Full Time experienced Groom required to join small established team on private yard with a maximum of 6 horses -1 retired hunter, 1 miniature shetland, 2 hunters and 1 dressage horse ( another due soon hopefully)

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with the highest standards to work on a professionally run yard where the horses welfare is of the utmost importance. There will always be 2 grooms working at one time so this is not an isolated position.

The horses are lovely and the yard has fabulous facilities including an indoor arena- what a bonus for those cold, wet, winter days!

The yard is quiet and immaculate, so would not suit someone looking for a busy environment with lots going on.

The ideal person will have at least 5 years of working in the equine industry with the ability to clip, plait, trim etc to competition level. Excellent first aid skills required.

The successful person must be confident handling competition horses on the ground and be happy hacking out.

Someone who takes a pride in their work and can assist with keeping the yard, stables, tack and arenas all clean and tidy throughout the seasons.

A competitive salary will be offered in return for reliability, punctuality and a good work ethic- also an easy to get along with personality is a must.

This position is based on a 4-4.5 day week ensuring a great work life balance.

There is self contained accommodation available if required and a well behaved dog and partner would be welcome.
