Sunday Groom – Braintree, Essex – REF 932

Part Time experienced Groom required for small, private yard with 4 horses including 1 in foal mare.

The ideal person will be able to work every Sunday for approx 5 hours total.

8am to 11am

3 or 4pm to 5 or 6pm

A good hourly rate will be offered.

The position will include:-

• Mucking out
• Turning horses out and bringing in from the field
• Filling Haynets
• Cleaning and filling water buckets
• Sweeping the yard and keeping muck heap tidy
• Brushing horses off from the field, picking out feet and changing rugs
• Checking for injury
• Cleaning tack on occasions
• Feeding if required

The horses are well behaved, however someone with confidence handling fit competition horses is a must.

Reliability and punctuality essential.
