Full Time Nanny/Mother’s Help/Groom required for busy young family located near Bury St Edmunds-easy access from the A14.
The family have 2 children -ages 3 and 7 , 2 ponies , 1 horse and 2 dogs ( lab and terrier).
We are looking for a reliable, fun , outdoorsy person to cover a variety of duties helping to keep the house running smoothly.
This is a Monday to Friday role and the hours will be 09.30 to 6.30/7pm – winter months and 09.30-5pm summer. Tuesday would be an earlier start of 07.30.
The Position includes:-
- Childcare of two children, including some school runs and after school activities
- Cooking healthy supper for the children
- Creating and putting into practice fun activities
- Walking the dogs
- Mucking out the 2 ponies and 1 horse
- Turning out and bringing in from the field
- Grooming, rug changing, cleaning tack, hays and waters
- Lunge the ponies and ride the horse ( 16.1 hunter)
- Some light housework to assist the cleaner who does the majority .
- Odd weekend work and evenings babysitting
The Person will have:-
- Previous childcare experience with fully checkable references
- Groom experience and the ability to take care of 3 horses-all yard duties , lunging and riding
- A fun, bright personality with a genuine love of working with children
- Cooking experience to cook children’s meals
- A clean driving licence and own transport
- Flexibility when hours change
- A DBS check
