Full Time Groundsperson/ Gardener- East Bergholt -REF 1049

Full Time Groundsperson required for beautiful gardens and garden centre located in East Bergholt ,easy access from Colchester or Ipswich, close to the A12.

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic person with a really good work ethic and the ability to work alone and also within a small established team.

Must be happy working outside in all weather and understand what the seasons mean to gardening tasks.

The ideal person will be able to:-

• Use large garden machinery and keep it well maintained
• Use ride on mowers, strimmers, chain saw and hedgecutter (licences required)
• Maintain lawned areas to a high standard
• Maintain hedges
• Keep driveways and ditches clear
• Assist gardeners with borders ,cutting garden and tree work.
• Assist around the Estate and help in the garden centre when necessary( not the shop)

Horticultural knowledge would be a great advantage with good plant identification etc.

This is a Monday to Friday position – 40 hours a week

Salary will depend on experience.
