Part Time Equestrian Shop Assistant – Woodbridge -REF 985

Part Time Equestrian Shop Assistants required for established Tack, clothing and Horse Feed store located approx 10 minutes from Woodbridge-easy access from the A12.

We are looking for 2 part time assistants to work 3 days each a week which will include weekend work on a rota basis.

Hours are as follows:-

Monday to Saturday – 9am to 5pm

Sunday -10am to 4pm

The Position:-

• Serving customers-
• Fitting riding hats ( training will be given)
• Keeping the shop clean and tidy at all times
• Using the till and card machine ( experience preferred)
• Helping customers load cars with feed if required
• Rug washing
• Using social media to promote the shop and create fun, attractive posts on facebook and instagram to advertise products and services

The Person:-

• Reliable, punctual and a good team player
• Polite, well presented with excellent customer service skills
• Trustworthy and happy to work alone at times
• Will have excellent communication skills to liaise with customers, suppliers and other staff members
• Will have good equestrian knowledge and a personal background in horses ,understanding, tack, feed and general horsey requirements.
• Confident with IT and experienced with using social media
• Fit and healthy and able to carry feed bags, rugs etc
• Happy to clean rugs
• Happy to keep the shop clean and tidy providing a safe place for customers and staff
