Part Time Groom – Nr Hadleigh Suffolk – REF 1174

Part Time,  experienced groom required for hunting yard approx 2 miles from Hadleigh Suffolk.

We are looking for a second groom to work alongside the Head Groom caring for 8 hunters.

The Person we are looking for will be:-

• Reliable
• Punctual
• Hard working
• A good rider who is able to ride fit horses
• A good team player with an easy to get along with personality
• Able to follow instruction and also work on their own when required
• Fully referenced from previous groom roles

The Position:-

• 6 mornings a week (no Sundays)
• All yard duties to a high standard-mucking out, grooming, waters, hays and feeds
• Handling fit horses on the ground – turning out and bringing in from the field, rug changing etc
• Tacking up and preparing for travel
• Clipping and plaiting would be an advantage but not a deal breaker
• Hacking out
