Full Time Housekeeper -Nr Stowmarket / Suffolk – Ref 1038

Full Time experienced Housekeeper required to work alongside established Head Housekeeper maintaining this beautiful private country house located between Hadleigh and Stowmarket.

This is ideally a live in position and lovely accommodation is available on site.

Private household experience preferred although previous employment on a luxury yacht or within a first class hotel would be considered.

The successful person will receive a generous salary and a lovely working environment in exchange for being a reliable, enthusiastic member of the small team all providing high standard service at all times.

The position:-

• All housework to a high standard
• Some cooking
• Laundry and small item ironing ( bedding goes to ironing service)
• Deep cleans when required
• General tidying-emptying bins, dishwasher, washing machine etc –
• Keeping flowers refreshed-liaising with gardens
• Ordering supplies for the house
• Taking instruction from the Principals and the Head Housekeeper and Estate Manager
• Working along to cover holidays and days off
• Working weekends on a rota basis

The Person:-

• Reliable, polite, well presented with a good work ethic
• Fully referenced for previous similar posts
• Car driver
• Non smoker
• Experienced in all housework
• Able to cook for the family and freezer
• Happy to help with parties at times
